We’re planning to start growing native plants from seeds and by splitting plants we already have in our gardens. If you’d like to start with some native plants this way, we will provide them free of charge. All we ask is that you place them in the right spot and care for them. The plants below are in our gardens currently and available to request. We will do our best to grow them, but no promises. We may be unsuccessful in which case you’ll get nothing (for free). If you want to ensure you get plants, the surest way to get them is to purchase them. We have recommendations on our Resources page for where to do so.
Available Plants
Look through the images below to identify plants you’d like. Think about where you’d put them in terms of access to daylight, moistness of soil, type of soil, etc. to ensure they have the best chance of growing and providing habitat. Then you can use the form at the bottom of this page to let us know what you’d like and how many. Again, no promises! This is an experiment!
