Crabapple street tree on McClure

Crabapple street tree on McClure Street

Brighton Heights residents organize at least one TreeVitalize application each year, typically in the late Summer or Fall. These trees are typically awarded and planted by a team of local volunteers in the fall of the next year. Additionally, residents are organizing tree plantings in public parts and other lands based on opportunity and merit. If you are a property owner of any type in Brighton Heights, we would love to help you add more native trees to your land.

Want your own street or yard tree?

How does it work?

Residents work together to get tree request forms signed and submitted. TreeVitalize staff then assess the sites, cut the tree pits (3 x 10 ft) or locate a spot in the yard, dig the holes, deliver the trees, and then organize residents to plant them, providing all tools and mulch. What is TreeVitalize?
